Really happy with our full kitchen renovation. The old kitchen was tired, dated, and felt cramped, but the transformation is unreal. It feels like a completely different house now. Very happy with how it came out.

Mike helped us find the right layout for our awkward kitchen space, and we ended up with a full kitchen renovation. The team was respectful, professional, and easy to work with while we lived there during the renovation.

Mike and the team were great from start to finish. He turned up with samples on the first visit which we werent expecting and it really helped us picture things. Went for a fairly traditional shaker kitchen in the end, full fit out, and the finished result is exactly what we had in mind.

We handed House of Fitters the keys to our rental in Hackney and asked them to handle a full bathroom remodel while we stayed out of it. They sent photos as the work progressed, flagged a drainage issue before it became a problem. No inflated costs and last minute surprises. We are happy overall.

Never renovated a kitchen before so wasnt sure what to expect. House of fitters London made the whole thing pretty straightforward from start to finish.

House of fitters handled our bathroom renovation and the finish was exactly what we were after. Clean, well done, no complaints.

Worktop replacement across two office kitchens, done quickly and no real disruption to the rest of the team. Impressed with how smoothly it went.

FAQs
Custom Made Kitchens in Essex & Hertfordshire FAQs
What makes a kitchen 'custom made' versus standard?
Custom made kitchens in Essex & Hertfordshire are designed and installed to your exact specification – layouts tailored to your space, cabinets made to measure, materials and finishes chosen to your brief. Standard kitchens use pre-set cabinet sizes and layouts that are adapted to fit. Custom kitchens are designed around how you cook, your storage needs, and the specific constraints of your property.
Do you fabricate custom made kitchen cabinets in-house?
We work with specialist kitchen manufacturers who fabricate custom made kitchen cabinets to our exact specifications. This gives you access to bespoke joinery, hand made kitchens quality, and premium finishes, while we manage design and installation end-to-end.
Do you offer design-only services for custom kitchens?
No, our custom made kitchens in Essex & Hertfordshire service is built to lead into installation. A beautifully designed custom kitchen is only as good as the team that installs it. We offer design and installation under one roof so nothing gets lost between the drawing and the finished space.
Can you design custom kitchens for awkward or non-standard spaces?
Yes – that's where custom design makes the most sense. Made to measure kitchens in Essex & Hertfordshire are especially valuable in period properties, conversions, and spaces with awkward dimensions where standard cabinets simply won't fit. We design around your constraints and make every centimetre work.
